Why I became a therapist:
I became a therapist because when I was younger I found it difficult to find a therapist who understood my experiences or was diverse across different cultures. I felt that I was not getting the help I needed and in return, felt more isolated. I thought if that was my experience in therapy, then others might have the same experience. Thus, with my passion for helping others and my goal-oriented mindset, I got to work being the best therapist I could be so that others would not have to go through that experience again!
